COVER ANALYSIS
Some of our thoughts about the cover of the text...
"Gold fever is sweeping." I thought this could indicate that everyone was catching 'gold fever ' meaning everyone wanted to go find gold and that this thinking was spreading like a fever. What did you think this phrase means and why? (Brooky)
There is a dark figure across from the hotel. I think that this figure may someone who will be of significance in the story because he is running around in the darkness - hidden. What do you think about this character and why? (Brooky)
