Kia ora, I'm Alfon from Tamatea Intermediate, Room 13. Here is a record of Terry's and my learning about our shared text so far.  We are really enjoying the book so far.  We like that there is plenty of tension and that the author James Russell often leaves us with a Clift hanger.  I am wondering whether Michael and his dad go to the gold fields once his dad gets better to support them financially. I have found the part about both Atarangi and Michael having unique talents so far extremely interesting and I cannot wait to see how these two talents support them throughout the context of the text. I would like to know your thoughts about what has been the most interesting part of the storyline for you so far and your reasons for it?
